Static mixers are highly engineered mixers that provide in-line continuous mixing of fluid materials in the pipeline. Usually fluids to be mixed are fluid, but static mixers can also be used to mix gas streams, disperse gas to liquid or blend immiscible liquids. Static mixers are tubular internals with no moving parts which make use of the energy of the flow to generate cost-effective, consistent, reliable mixing. The fluid flow is provided by pumping.
